Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern use of the RingThread website and messaging service operated by LM Tech Solutions LLC ("RingThread," "we," "us"). By using ringthread.com or communicating with a RingThread-powered business number, you agree to these Terms.
What RingThread is
RingThread provides automated, AI-assisted call answering and text messaging on behalf of participating service businesses. When you contact a participating business, RingThread may respond to your call or message, collect service details, and schedule appointments on that business's behalf. RingThread acts as a service provider to the business you contacted; the service relationship — including the work performed, pricing, and scheduling commitments — is between you and that business.
SMS program terms
- Opt-in: conversations begin only when you contact a participating business first, by calling or texting its number. Calling a participating number and hearing its greeting, or texting it directly, initiates a text conversation with that business.
- Message frequency varies by conversation.
- Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.
- Opt-out: reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages from that business's number. You may receive one final message confirming your opt-out.
- Help: reply HELP for assistance, or email hello@ringthread.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Automated conversations
Messages from RingThread-powered numbers may be generated by an automated assistant. Emergencies: if you have a life-threatening emergency, call 911. Descriptions of service availability or appointment windows are made on behalf of the participating business and are subject to that business's confirmation and terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to send unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent content, to interfere with the service's operation, or to attempt to access information belonging to others.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LM Tech Solutions LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for the acts, omissions, or work quality of any participating business. Our total liability arising out of the service shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) or, for participating businesses with a service agreement, the amount set out in that agreement.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Venue for any dispute lies in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
General provisions
- Force majeure: we're not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier outages, internet or utility disruptions, and acts of nature.
- Severability: if any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in full effect.
- No waiver: our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment: we may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets; you may not assign your rights under these Terms.
- Survival: provisions that by their nature should survive (such as disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law) remain in effect after your conversation ends or you opt out.
- Entire agreement: these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the RingThread service.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
