RingThread

The call you missed just booked itself.

You're under a house, on a roof, or elbow-deep in a condenser — and the phone rings. RingThread texts the caller back instantly, has a real conversation, collects the details, and books the appointment. You see the whole thread. You never lose the job.

How it works

  1. A customer calls and you can't pick up. They hear a short message: "We're texting you right now." No voicemail black hole.
  2. They get a text within seconds. A real back-and-forth conversation — what's wrong, where they are, when works for them. Not a form. Not a phone tree.
  3. The job lands on your schedule. Emergency calls are flagged to you immediately. Routine work books into your arrival windows. Every conversation is yours to read.

Built for the trades

RingThread is made for owner-operated service businesses — HVAC, plumbing, electrical — where the person who answers the phone is the same person doing the work. It understands emergencies versus routine service, service areas, equipment questions, and arrival windows. It doesn't replace you; it catches what you'd otherwise lose.

Founding partner pricing

We're onboarding a small group of founding partners at a locked monthly rate, month to month, cancel anytime. If catching your missed calls doesn't pay for itself, don't keep it.

About text messaging with RingThread: conversations start only when a consumer contacts RingThread's number first — by calling or texting it. Message frequency varies by conversation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for details.

Verbal consent script: when a call to a RingThread number goes unanswered, every caller hears this recorded prompt and must press a key to affirmatively opt in before any text is sent:

“Thanks for calling RingThread! We can’t pick up right now. Press 1 and we’ll text you at this number to help schedule your visit — message and data rates may apply.”

Example: a consumer calls, hears the prompt above, and presses 1. They immediately hear “Great — we’re texting you now. You can also leave a message after the tone,” and receive this text: “Sorry we missed your call! This is RingThread — I’m Alex, and I can get a visit scheduled right here over text. What’s going on with your AC or heating? Msg frequency varies, msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.” If the caller doesn’t press 1 (or presses anything else), they hear “No problem — please call back anytime, or leave a message after the tone,” and no text is ever sent.

How consent is recorded: the DTMF key press ("1") during the call is the explicit consent event, captured by Twilio and retained in the call detail record (caller number, timestamp, call SID, and the digit collected) as evidence. Only a "1" response triggers the text-back; every other outcome is treated as declined and no message is sent. The reply text repeats the frequency/rate disclosure and HELP/STOP instructions shown above, and STOP is honored immediately as a platform-level opt-out.
